SCHOOL LAW:- Child must remain in "School" to age 17.
For some children this causes conflict and generates:-
ANGER:- for the strong, wild child, the Eaglets.
DEPRESSION:- for the gentle ones, the Squabs.
FIX IT - - - cut the branch - - - Press the Aerie College reset Button - - - Child leaves their home nest, and their school, to do "TIME OUT" - - - They will be back.
Free range chickens, away from the chicken shed, are much happier, more productive and produce better results. Aerie has safe roosts for rest time.
IN AND ON WATER, AND RIVER CRUISE, KAYAKS AND BOAT SAFETY:- We focus on water safety which includes some swimming, life jackets and water rescue skills. CPR and first aid skills are essential. We use a fast safety escort tug boat for all kayaking events and PV Mundoo as swag camping cruising home base to provide safe reset and rest time to preen their wings, and respite for teachers.
Aerie residential College can support them with a safe wilderness reset time to grow new feathers for adult flight with a ten week remote river cruise, totally different life, with structured physical adventures and long discussions.
The Aerie CHANGE reset button is Time out in Wilderness River Murray cruise adventure. The Aerie teachers use the power of wilderness adventure to smooth their feathers. This provides a safe place and time to rest after a damaging escape from school or family conflict. A time to absorb the whisperings of the ancient river wilderness with the help of skilled adults. PV Mundoo is a safe nest to share with others and think about new directions.
Parents are welcome to tag along in their own boat for part or all of the "Time Out" cruise. They can join in with activities but must play to the Aerie College rules. At any time they can take their child and leave. This is a come and try school camp event, not an enrolment in Aerie College. Principal, Capt. Bouc will be with the time out cruise for most of the time. Chat is always welcome.
END OF TIME OUT CRUISE- - - - Aerie Principal, student and family meet to make a decision.
