Use of all our boats is by Donation to Avoca trust.
AERIE RIVER BOATS: Donations are to "Avoca Trust" our Tax deductible Environmental trust, for "Education about the Murray River Environment". Donations are accounted for and reported separately. We seek donations not use fees for entry to the Training ships "TS Aerie" and "TS Mundoo" and "GoGo" . We suggest a value and request a donation. All tax deductible. We help all boats if we can.
The purpose of this trust is the education and training associated with the protection of the Murray River and its environment - curriculum unit "Environmental education" is used for this education and training.
All funds donated to this account are made to "Avoca trust Account" and are reported annually to the Tax department and the Charities register.
The Avoca Trust gift donations are used to purchase, maintain and operate the college boats as school ships for provision of education and training about the environment of the Murray Darling environment.

TS "Aerie" with qualified teacher as master is our "Time Out" entry training boat including boat operations and kayaking skills.
Aerie tows a dinghy tender.
Student accommodation is swag camping on the main deck with shared ablutions for 16 students and staff ensuite accommodation for 6 on the top deck.
Aerie does the "Time Out" program each term for an intake of 16 teens

TS "PV Mundoo" with qualified teacher as master, and crewed by our students, works commercially as our advanced training, expedition escort vessel, with our students & staff providing kayaking instruction, catering and shelter support for expeditions and school camps anywhere on the river for up to 300 passengers. Mundoo carries a dinghy tender onboard for emergency use. For special events, a fleet of double kayaks are carried on the aft deck. Kayak landing steps and aft platforms are fixed each side of the the rudder and linked behind for easy kayak water access.
Cruise time provides the essential "Sea Time" for qualifications.
