DGR Gift of $100 has a Tax benefit to provide one student bed night each year.

We believe we will eventually need at least $1,100,000 to purchase and refit the school ships. Then we need volunteers to help with the project. We are a group of retired teachers, who like river boats.

Each student who uses this bed night will be asked to write a letter of thanks to the donor.

Avoca II will market the school ship project as it travels the Murray with a young marketing couple. It has a comfortable living spaces and outboard power for emergency.

Family boats in flotilla with "Avoca II" can help raise $$$$

TSAerie Captains will teach & assess boat skills competency of the kids before they skipper a boat.

The Aerie training requirements to take charge of one of the family boats are:

SA Recreational Boat Licence
Deep water recovery rescue including use of rescue boat and spinal board transfers
Provide First Aid, including Oxygen resuscitation
Practical competency in operation of the specific boat

This training will be provided by Capt. Bouc or one of the teacher skilled Aerie boat masters.before taking charge of a family boat. Parents may also ike to join the training program.

Aerie College teachers supervise the online learning for teens on family boats cruising in flotilla.

Aerie School ship masters take control of a flotilla cruise group as part of the learning contract. All river boats are required to stay together in flotilla and at overnight mooring. The Aerie fast rescue boat is available with the flotilla at all times, towing, or fast river run for medical help. The remote river is safe from metropolitan influences, But a long time away from medical help if needed. The fast boat is needed to meet an ambulance access point. All kids will already have the essential avanced first aid skills.

"TS Mundoo" with its Marketing students team, relocates for special catering events for up to 150.

The visiting school will provide a list of the students and staff who will be participating in the "TS-Mundoo" These participating school will make a donation to Aerie college. All visiting students will be enrolled as students of Aerie college for the duration of their school camp. All our boats are private college boats, not commercial.

Steamboat PS "Avoca II" will cruise the Murray, fundraising with a young marketing student crew. DGR receipt cards for various amount will be provided and signed by boat crew for each donation.
