For funding and student supervision purposes, (Protection of minors), it is necessary to separate the school from the general resort facilities and community members,

Discussions with the SAFA personnel as of 17/09/2024 indicate that the School Loans to $10,000,000 is still  in place. The date for the next round in 2025 has not been identified. It is clear that these funds will not be available for start of Aerie College, Term one of 2025.  

SAFA discussion indicates the proposals below are acceptable once the next round of funding opens.

$800,000 PV Mundoo - School ship    School camp platform for "Time Out" is for sale in Mildura. 

$100,000 Safety Escort Tug (Ex Navy) Including refit and truck relocation

$400,000 Aerie Houseboat School Ship - available in Mannum

$3,000,000 - 9 River Lane Mannum, Home house

$700,000 - Estimate for wilderness teaching and Administration equipment, property refits for education purpose, and incidentals. 

$5,000,000 Requested line of credit from SAFA to get the new school project underway.  

SAFA can have 1st mortgage protection over the properties if needed. As soon as we get underway we expect considerable unsecured investments from families in our Loan License to Occupy program. We can attract DGR donations, and will source every possible grant for youth at risk.

• Established and operated Residential Outdoor Pursuits Centre in Goolwa with escorted canoe expeditions into the Coorong National Park. (Managed an Average of 1,000+ students on camp each year) The site was a registered school for 1995, but not enough enrolments (16) for viability.
• 2004+ Delivering Rec. Boat License Certificate courses (3,000+ certificates issued to date)

Home Stay Parent, past 16 years - International senior high school students. Two onboard now.

• Homestay Parent for 50+ senior high school kids, boys and girls, in my home over past 18 years.

• Team Leader JESIFA project, a joint union-education department project which informed all teachers in SA about the problems with teacher mobility and promotion and led to the 4-year compulsory transfer system. 
• Team member English Course review for the Education Department and chaired the implementation committee for ELIC (Early Literacy Inservice Course) and LLIMY (Language and Literacy in the Middle Years) teacher in-service courses. 
• Director of ACEL (Excellence in education) since its inception in 1978 
• Member Education Department's Change Review Team for Volunteer Support. 
• I have supported various school leadership teams for the past 21 years, specializing in change management processes.
• Introduced Royal Life saving courses to the SACE Community study options

• Chair of the Royal Lifesaving Society SA & Federal Board member for 14 years. 
• Planned & implemented DEET Lifeguards course in 2001 and ran the course for 4 years.
