BOATS: Donations to "Avoca Trust" our Tax deductible Environmental trust, are specific to "Education about the Murray River Environment" and are accounted for and reported separately.
The purpose of this trust is the education and training associated with the protection of the Murray River and its environment - curriculum unit "Environmental education" is used for this education and training.
All funds donated to this account are made to "Avoca trust Account" and are reported annually to the Tax department and the Charities register.
The Avoca Trust gift donations are used to purchase, maintain and operate the college boats as the platforms for provision of education and training about the environment of the Murray Darling environment.
PROPERTY & BUILDINGS: All donations to the Aerie College School building fund is solely a tax benefit for providing money to acquire, construct or maintain school buildings for teaching and student accommodation, including the cost of the land the buildings stand on.
A school building is a structure with a foundation, the bottom support layer of the building, walls on the side and a roof, on the top. typically designed for permanent use and housing various activities like living, work, school. It is designed to provide protected spaces for shelter.
